I want to say how much I enjoyed your latest book about Mom. It’s amazing how much of her life I never knew. You have done a wonderful job of dramatizing it. I was impressed by your writing too. It came across as totally professional, compared to many so-called Christian novels which sound like they were written by amateurs. So keep up the writing – you could be famous some day!
I loved the book, of course, but moreso, I enjoyed helping with some of the editing - it couldn't have come at a better time in my life - not only did you give me something positive to focus on during a very tumultuous time in my life, but many of the anecdotes in Susie's Journey (and Susie's Story) helped me to put my own life into perspective. I must admit that when I opened my copy and saw my name there, I sat down and cried because all of the feelings from reading these incredible stories (as well as all of the love and affection I feel for their author and the One who blessed her with such talent) came rushing down over me all at once. Thank you so much for sharing your gift and your mother's story with me. I look forward to the next book!
I cannot access the bookstore for Susie's Journey and Susie's Story. We would like copies for the Mennonite Historical Library. Please contact me at brbontrager@goshen.edu to let me know how we might acquire copies. Thank you.

This sounds so interesting as my father is from Ukraine via Nazi Germany. Do you know exactly where your Mom is from?
